Port KC celebrated recent State funding which will be directed toward port improvement projects in the Kansas City area. $7 million of which will be utilized for the removal of failing dock infrastructure as well as expansion of the existing dock wall and ground storage capacity of the facility. At the press conference, Port KC also announced the renaming of the port from the Woodswether Terminal to the Michael L. Parson Port Terminal.
